PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Weber has been an engineering field technician since February 1996. His responsibilities as a field technician include the inspection, testing, and monitoring of compacted earth and rock fill, placement of Portland cement concrete, asphaltic concrete, along with masonry, footing, and auger pile inspections during all phases of construction.

REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

  • Holland Energy Facility, Effingham, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident Quality Control Inspector for an approximate $300 million gas-fired power plant. His responsibilities included working closely with the owner, contractors, architect, and engineers for the total scope of work. Mr. Weber supervised all third party testing for welding, piping, mechanical, earthwork, and concrete along with complete review of all documentation.
  • Unilever Midwest, Pontoon Beach, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician with a three-man crew for the density testing of over 140,000 cubic yards of lime stabilized, engineered soil fill. Duties included lime quantity calculations, total yardages placed, density tests on soil and aggregate material, fresh concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspections for footings, slabs, foundation walls, and tilt-up panels; as well as scheduling and close monitoring of project specifications and site plans with the owner and architectural team for the 1.262 million-square-foot warehouse.
  • Hershey Midwest, Edwardsville, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician with a three-man crew for the density testing of over 120,000 cubic yards of lime stabilized, engineered soil fill. Duties included lime quantity calculations, total yardages placed, density tests on soil and aggregate material, fresh concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspections for footings, slabs, foundation walls, and tilt-up panels; as well as scheduling and close monitoring of project specifications and site plans with the owner and architectural team for the 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse.
  • Coffeen Supplemental Cooling Lake, Coffeen, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician for the 80-acre cooling lake development. His responsibilities included working closely with the architect, owner, and contractors to coordinate and provide QC testing on soil, concrete, rock, and reinforcing steel. Mr. Weber worked on a daily basis with the project engineer for Ameren Services and Sargent & Lundy, L.L.C.
  • Patriots Landing, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician for the $38 million housing development at Scott Air Force Base. His responsibilities included working closely with the general contractor to coordinate and provide density testing on soil, sand, and rock and perform concrete inspections for footings, slabs, and pavement.
  • AO-I Warehouse, Edwardsville, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician for the density testing of over 53,000 cubic yards of lime stabilized, engineered soil fill. Duties included lime quantity calculations, total yardages placed, density tests on soil and aggregate material, fresh concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspections for footings, slabs, foundation walls, and tilt-up panels; as well as scheduling and close monitoring of project specifications and site plans with the owner and architectural team for the 480 thousand-square-foot warehouse.
  • AO-III Warehouse, Edwardsville, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician for the density testing of over 64,000 cubic yards of lime stabilized, engineered soil fill. Duties included lime quantity calculations, total yardages placed, density tests on soil and aggregate material, fresh concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspections for footings, slabs, foundation walls, and tilt-up panels; as well as scheduling and close monitoring of project specifications and site plans with the owner and architectural team for the 480 thousand-square-foot warehouse.
  • Wal-Mart, Paris, Illinois. Resident Technician for 110,000 square feet building and parking lot. Duties included soil, rock and asphalt density testing with concrete inspection for foundations and slabs, along with masonry inspection for walls. Mr. Weber worked on a daily basis with the general contractor and Wal-Mart Construction Manager to facilitate all testing requirements.
  • Wal-Mart, Altoona, Iowa. Resident Technician for 200,000 square feet building and parking lot. Duties included soil, rock and asphalt density testing with concrete inspection for foundations and slabs, along with masonry inspection for CMU walls. Mr. Weber worked on a daily basis with the general contractor and Wal-Mart Construction Manager to facilitate all testing requirements.
  • Wal-Mart, Litchfield, Illinois. Resident Technician for 190,000 square feet building and parking lot. Duties included soil, rock and asphalt density testing with concrete inspection for foundations and slabs, along with masonry inspection for CMU walls. Mr. Weber worked on a daily basis with the general contractor and Wal-Mart Construction Manager to facilitate all testing requirements.
  • CVS Pharmacies in O’Fallon, Alton, and Godfrey, Illinois. Responsibilities included working close with the general contractor during demolition and general grading. Performed density testing on soil, rock and asphalt; and concrete testing on foundation and slabs.
  • University of Missouri (UMSL) 700 Car Parking Garage, St. Louis, Missouri. Responsibility included footing and drilled pier inspections; density testing on soil, rock and asphalt; and concrete testing on foundations and deck slabs.
  • MidAmerica St. Louis Airport – General Aviation Apron, Mascoutah, Illinois. Mr. Weber performed fresh concrete testing and batch plant inspections; all testing was done in accordance with Illinois Department of Aviation QA/QC guidelines.
  • USF Holland Trucking, Edwardsville, Illinois. Mr. Weber was the resident technician for the 24-acre truck parking lot. Duties included lime quantity calculations, total yardages placed, density tests on soil and aggregate material, fresh concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspections for footings, slabs, and foundation walls; as well as scheduling and close monitoring of project specifications and site plans with the owner and architectural team.
